Congratulations

Congratulations to the Edmonton Eskimos on defeating the Montreal Alouettes by a score of 38-35 in overtime and winning the 2005 Grey Cup!

I was only able to catch bits and pieces of regulation time as I was at work on Sunday, but I did get to watch the thrilling overtime. It was one for the history books to be sure.

Way to go, Esks! Do it again next year.

well hello!

Thanks for signing my guestbook. :)

I wanted to add my own "way to go esks!" to yours, and say that I hope you had a good time watching the last bit of it. We need more good sporting games like that one to keep Edmonton on the map. ;)

It was a good game for sure. What I really hate is how all the big budget blockbuster commercials overshadow the game. Cmon Canadian tire and Scotia bank really now. The game is about the players not the hundreds of dollars you spend on commmercials.

Some of those big corporations spared no expense when it came to those commercials. True, it may have been hundreds of dollars, but it was hundreds of dollars in Canadian Tire money.
